Rockstar has finally cleared the fog surrounding the release window of their highly-anticipated third-person action game Grand Theft Auto (GTA) V, now confirming that the title will be released on 17 September. Officially announced for the Xbox 360 and PS3 (no word yet on a PC version though precedents indicate it may happen down the line), the open-world game will be arriving a few months later than initially expected, as the developers intend to put as much polish as possible in the interim to ensure the final product does not achieve the massively ambitious and complex standards originally set.
We shall meanwhile endeavor to bring you all the fresh news and media that Rockstar is likely to release in the weeks and months ahead to whet our appetite.

Are you in for some chop? Konami has released two new action-packed videos for its upcoming hack and slashes game Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The first clip shows some of the cyborg troopers that you’ll be facing in the game. Opponents range from basic cybernetic enemies equipped with blades, Cyborg Police with an electric baton and riot shields, Heavy Cyborg trooper armed with the big hammer and more. Prepare yourself for some crazy, thumb straining hack and slash action once the title is released on 19 February on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
The second video gives us a closer look at a total of seven blades which you can unlock in the game. The one shown in the trailer below is the default HF (high-frequency vibration-based) blade, Stun blades which has the ability to disable enemies for a brief time, the Armor Breaker that cuts through armor and allows Raiden to jump into blade mode and even a machete. Combos, parrying attacks of the cybernetic foes and utilizing the Zandatsu mechanic to chop enemies into numerous pieces is the way to triumph.
